Like any kid, I enjoyed taking crayons and drawing silly things. In middle school I would follow a "how to draw dinosaurs" book, don't mean to toot my own horn but they were some pretty radical drawings. In high school I took IB art courses, where we had several workshops with visiting artists and practiced using several kinds of media. Indeed, it was in these classes where my enthusiasm for art ignited, but it was definitely when I got to college that my appreciation for printmaking flourish. Not only was I astonished by the numerous processes and their techniques but by the printmaking community as well. After taking my first printmaking class during my sophomore year of college, I knew my heart was set in it and so, I decided to major in Printmaking.
